About Sam Salt

Sam Salt has published two books:

Daughters of Derby, a gritty urban thriller featuring private eyes Simon Loake and Jenny Patel.

Alchemists of Time, a novel of the occult set entirely in 1959 and 1859. Sam has a long-standing interest in the Victorian period and is particularly fascinated by Victorian photography.

Sam has a background in all aspects of computing including artificial intelligence, databases, digital forensics and security. He teaches part-time at Warwick University and his local sixth form college and is a partner in a micro-brewery.

Sam's other interests include photography in general and herding Bengal cats. He collects vintage photographs and many of these can be seen on his flickr stream and his blog.
